Series IG-400

IG-400 series valves are used as a regulation element as they allow continuous work at any percentage of opening. They are of machine-welded construction, custom made, and adjust themselves perfectly to the hydraulic conditions of the facility. Depending on the design conditions, their installation can be at free discharge or with submerged discharge. They are generally provided for deep or medium-bottomed dam discharges with concentrator and aeration in the exit. Its geometry of diverging stream provides the necessary break of charge for all types of discharge or overflow channels. The maneuver is carried out through a combination of a double oleo-hydraulic cylinder together with a positioning system.
